Bhondla Celebration

Chicago Marathi Shala, Naperville celebrated Bhondla virtually. Kids sang Bhondla songs with Anu Kulkarni and Anuradha Putambekar. Though it was a virtual event most of the kids got one food item for खिरापत ओळखा. Everyone enjoyed the game :)
Back to Shala Meet

Back to Shala meet was organized to distribute shala supplies to kids and meet their teachers in person. This was a non-mandatory event taking into consideration the Pandemic. More pictures are available here.
First Day of the School 2021-22 - September 19
September 19, 2021
The first day of school for the year 2021-22 is September 19. Chicago Marathi Shala follows the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) released guidance and kids health safety is our top most priority. Chicago Marathi Shala team will start the virtual classes for all grades on Google Classroom. Shala board trustees will evaluate the situatiion in December for the in-person school in January.
